Strategic Account Manager
Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory is the world’s leading business intelligence provider on the consulting profession. We are actively seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our Keene, NH-based client services team. Primary responsibilities of this key revenue-generating position are research and advisory sales, including developing, managing, and deepening relationships with existing and prospective management-level clientele in the consulting profession, at large corporations, and in the IT services industry. The ability to build a long-term portfolio of accounts and manage a multi-faceted business pipeline is a must.
The Strategic Account Manager must have the ability to comprehend, communicate, and match a variety of customer/client needs to Kennedy’s high-end market research products and services, as well as the drive to meet individual and company wide revenue goals. Leadership qualities and excellent communications skills are a must.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position offers a competitive salary, additional commission-based compensation, and a generous benefits package. It includes occasional overnight travel and requires proficiency with MS Office and/or other standard PC applications, as well as a contact management system. Experience in working with a close-knit team of market experts and the savvy to excel in a high-visibility position is a plus. Senior Research Analyst (Market Research/Consulting Industry) – United Kingdom
Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory (KCRA), a subsidiary of Bloomberg BNA, is the leading provider of business intelligence on the consulting industry. We seek full-time individuals in the UK to perform market research and analysis in support of our in-depth coverage of management consulting service providers and the consulting marketplace.
In this role, Senior Research Analysts are expected to:
- Conduct primary and secondary research and gather data in support of market research reports and analysis
- Perform analysis of market, market segment and regional/country trends
- Contribute to research reports that cogently present actionable market intelligence
- Design vendor and user questionnaires and participate in briefings & interviews
- Lead development of original research content, typically in the form of written reports
- Make presentations to industry stakeholders, clients, and internal associates
- Perform ongoing tactical analysis of consulting firm revenue data and other factual information
- Review domain-specific forecast methodologies and maintain forecasting models
Requirements for Research Analysts:
- 5+ years work experience in relevant corporate, research or professional service organization
- Bachelor's Degree in related field with a solid record of academic achievement; MBA preferred
- In-depth understanding of market research, data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with business services, professional services, and/or consulting services markets
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent planning and project management skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit; a self-starter able to work with limited direct supervision

In this role, the Senior Research Analyst & Public Sector Lead is expected to:
- Conduct primary and secondary research and gather data in support of market research reports and analysis; both for self-authored reports and in collaboration with Analysts in covering other service areas
- Perform analysis and forecasting of consulting spending, segmentation, and geographic trends
- Contribute to and create research reports that cogently present actionable market intelligence for Public Sector consulting buyers and providers
- Design questionnaires and lead consulting firm and client briefings and interviews
- Present findings to industry stakeholders, clients, and internal associates, in the form of speaking engagements, webinars and teleconferences, and conference calls
- Perform ongoing coverage and analysis of consulting firm revenue data and other factual information
- Review Public Sector specific consulting spending forecast methodologies and maintain forecasting models
Requirements for Senior Analyst and Public Sector Lead:
- 5+ years work experience in relevant corporate, research or professional service organization
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with a solid record of academic achievement; MBA preferred
- In-depth understanding of market research, data collection and analysis, ideally with a focus on the Public Sector at large or the US Federal Government
- Expertise in business or professional services and/or consulting markets
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
