Fiona Anderson,
Senior Analyst, Management Consulting Research
Fiona Anderson's focus at Kennedy is management consulting research, supporting multiple ongoing research projects, as well as performing market research and analysis in support of our in-depth coverage of management consulting service providers and the consulting marketplace.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Fiona spent several years doing conflict of interest research for Ernst & Young, and before that was the Information Center Manager at Mercer Management Consulting.
Fiona earned a B.A. in Political Science from Wellesley College, with a minor in Fine Arts.
Liz DeVito,
Associate Director, Lead for HR Consulting Research
Liz DeVito's focus at Kennedy is HR (human resource) consulting, covering the benefits, human capital, outsourcing and investments markets. She was previously a principal with Mercer, specializing in market and competitive intelligence for business, strategy and corporate development. Liz also has prior experience with Big Four audit, advisory and tax services, as well as strategy consulting. Her roles have been globally focused throughout her career.
Liz earned a M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Michigan and a M.P.A. in interactive telecommunications from New York University. She holds a B.A. in music theory and history from Skidmore College, with a minor in English.
Erin Hichman,
Senior Analyst, Lead for IT Consulting Research 
Erin is Kennedy’s lead for IT consulting. She was previously an Analyst with Technology Business Research, where she authored quarterly research reports on IT vendors — covering key trends and market developments, financial performance, and go-to-market strategies. In addition, Erin specialized in financial modeling, benchmarking, custom market analyses and research projects within the IT services industry. Prior to joining TBR in 2008, Erin spent four years as an IT Consultant with Deloitte Consulting, where she focused on IT process improvement and business analysis projects to increase efficiency and decrease costs for clients across a diverse set of industries, including consumer products, retail, and power & utilities.
Erin earned a M.S. in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Integrated Technology Management from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a minor in German from the same university.
Tomek Jankowski,
Senior Analyst, Lead for Financial Services Consulting Research 
Tomek Jankowski's focus is on consulting to the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and capital markets/asset management clients. In this capacity, Tomek has produced such reports as Consulting to the Banking Sector 2012-2015. In addition to leading Kennedy research in Financial Services Consulting, Tomek has contributed emerging markets expertise to KCRA reports such as Global Consulting Marketplace, Eastern Europe Consulting Marketplace (Russia, Ukraine and the Baltics), Latin America Consulting Marketplace 2010-2013, Middle East and Africa Consulting Marketplace 2010-2013, and Europe Consulting Marketplace 2011-2014.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Mr. Jankowski led the European asset-backed securities (ABS) and global collateralized debt obligation (CDO) report sourcing and research efforts for the asset-backed securities market intelligence firm Lewtan Technologies. Before that he spent five years with Capital Access International, a fixed-income market intelligence firm responsible for bringing the widely known fixed-income investment professional and securities profile tool eMAXX™ to the investment world. Mr. Jankowski was Director of North American data research when that firm was acquired by Lipper (a Reuters company) in 2002.
Mr. Jankowski earned a B.A. in History (with a minor in Cultural Anthropology) magna cum laude from SUNY at Buffalo (New York). He also spent several years living and studying in Poland, Hungary, and other regions of Eastern Europe.
Liz Leonard,
Associate Director, Lead for Healthcare Consulting Research 
Liz Leonard’s focus is on consulting in the healthcare marketplace, including coverage on payers, providers, life sciences, and biotechnology areas. She was previously a Senior Analyst and Engagement Manager with TBR, Inc., specializing in benchmarking research for the management consulting industry. Liz also has prior experience as a Senior Analyst with Kennedy Information and IDC, where her research was published on both the end user and provider markets in the marketing, CRM, and management consulting marketplaces globally.
Liz earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Boston College with a focus on marketing and technology, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from St. Lawrence University. She also studied literature, theater, and architecture at the University of Westminster in London, England.
Lasse Pitkaeniemi,
Associate Director, Market Research
Lasse Pitkaeniemi is a Research Analyst with Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory. He supports multiple ongoing research projects, and also plays a key role in quality control and database management. Mr. Pitkaeniemi has been a contributing analyst to the IT Consulting Marketplace and Strategy Consulting Marketplace research, and is also the author of the Recruiting Metrics & Analytics Survey report.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Mr. Pitkaeniemi conducted market, political and economic research for private companies and academic institutions. He holds a master’s degree in political science and a second master’s degree in economics, both from Åbo Akademi University in Finland. Mr. Pitkaeniemi is fluent in Swedish and Finnish, conversational in German and Danish, and has significant capabilities in several other languages.
Nathan Simon,
Senior Analyst, Lead for Strategy and Operations Management Consulting Research
Nathan Simon is the lead analyst for Kennedy's Strategy and Operations Management consulting service lines. He has over ten years of experience in internal and external consulting roles, and most recently managed an independent consulting practice geared towards aligning clients' strategies and organizational structures and processes. As part of this venture, Nathan partnered with a Harvard Business School professor on research designed to measure the performance of organizations' internal coordination systems. Prior to launching his own consulting practice, Nathan was responsible for global strategy and business development for a business unit at a multinational financial services company. In this role, he led strategic and operational initiatives that spanned multiple geographies and functional areas, including launching new businesses in East Asia and Eastern Europe.
Nathan holds a M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
Gabe Walle,
Industry Analyst, Financial Services Consulting Research
As a member of Kennedy’s financial services industry team, Gabe provides core sector research support and helps facilitate collaboration across Kennedy’s competency-focused research teams.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Gabe was a Municipal Services Representative in the Government Banking division of RBS Citizens, N.A., where he assisted not-for-profit and municipal and state government banking customers. He also has experience working as an Actuarial Assistant for a retirement plan administration company and in the shareholder services area of a large mutual fund company.
Gabe has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire. He served four years of active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps prior to attending UNH.
