Fiona's focus at Kennedy is management consulting research, supporting multiple ongoing research projects, as well as performing market research and analysis in support of our in-depth coverage of management consulting service providers and the consulting marketplace.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Fiona spent several years doing conflict of interest research for Ernst & Young (EY), and before that was the Information Center Manager at Mercer Management Consulting.
Fiona earned a B.A. in Political Science from Wellesley College, with a minor in Fine Arts.
, Associate Director, Lead for HR Consulting Research
Liz's focus at Kennedy is HR (human resources) consulting, covering the benefits, human capital, outsourcing and investments markets.
She was previously a principal with Mercer, specializing in market and competitive intelligence for business, strategy and corporate development. Liz also has prior experience with Big Four audit, advisory and tax services, as well as strategy consulting. Her roles have been globally focused throughout her career.
Liz earned an M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Michigan and an M.P.A. in interactive telecommunications from New York University. She holds a B.A. in music theory and history from Skidmore College, with a minor in English.
, Senior Analyst, Lead for IT Consulting Research
Erin Hichman is the lead analyst for Kennedy’s IT consulting research, covering the IT strategy; IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) & security; and IT design & architecture markets. Her recent research includes competency reports on IT consulting buying and spending trends in analytics, mobile technologies and cyber security.
Erin was previously an Analyst with Technology Business Research, where she authored quarterly research reports on IT vendors that covered key trends, financials, go-to-market and resource management. In addition, she specialized in financial modeling, benchmarking, custom market analyses and research projects within the IT services industry. Erin also has experience with Deloitte, where she was an IT Consultant focusing on IT process improvement and business analysis projects to increase efficiency and decrease cost for clients across diverse industries, including consumer products, retail, and power & utilities.
Erin earned an M.S. in Industrial Engineering, with a concentration in Integrated Technology Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a minor in German from the same university.
, Research Analyst, Strategy & Operations Consulting Research
Naima is an analyst for Kennedy's strategy and operations management consulting service lines. While beginning her career as a consultant at Ernst & Young, Naima has primarily held equity research positions focused largely on technology-driven companies at Fidelity Management & Research Co., Columbia Management Group and two start-up hedge funds.
Most recently, Naima was Research Spokesman & Business Development Manager covering the Americas for The AME Group, a Hong Kong-based commodities consulting and advisory firm.
Naima received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Management in Finance & Operations from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
, Senior Analyst, Lead for Financial Services Consulting Research
Tomek’s focus is on consulting to the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and capital markets/asset management clients. Prior to covering the financial services industry for Kennedy, he covered emerging markets regions.
Before joining Kennedy, Tomek led the European asset-backed securities (ABS) and global collateralized debt obligation (CDO) report sourcing and research efforts for the asset-backed securities market intelligence firm Lewtan Technologies. Before that he spent five years with Capital Access International, a fixed-income market intelligence firm responsible for bringing the widely known fixed-income investment professional and securities profile tool eMAXX to the investment world. He was Director of North American data research when that firm was acquired by Lipper (a Reuters company) in 2002.
Tomek earned a B.A. in History magna cum laude, with a minor in Cultural Anthropology, from SUNY at Buffalo (New York). He also spent several years living and studying in Poland, Hungary, and other regions of Eastern Europe and has authored a successful book (published in late 2013) on Eastern Europe.
, Associate Director, Lead for Healthcare Consulting Research
Liz's focus is on consulting in the healthcare marketplace, including coverage on payers, providers, life sciences, and biotechnology areas. She was previously a Senior Analyst and Engagement Manager with TBR, Inc., specializing in benchmarking research for the management consulting industry. Liz also has prior experience as a Senior Analyst with Kennedy Information and IDC, where her research was published on both the end user and provider markets in the marketing, CRM, and management consulting marketplaces globally.
Liz earned an M.B.A. from Boston College, with a focus on marketing and technology, and earned a B.A. in English Writing from St. Lawrence University. She also studied literature, theater, and architecture at the University of Westminster in London.
, Senior Analyst, Lead for Financial Consulting Research
Matt researches the Financial Consulting marketplace for Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory. Previously, he held several internal and external consulting positions, most recently at Ora, Inc., a drug development company, where he led implementations of new financial, project management, and HR processes and systems.
Prior to this, he worked for Tapestry Networks developing original research and content for a face-to-face network (sponsored by EY) of Fortune 50 audit committee chairmen. Before Tapestry, Matt led research and other initiatives here at Kennedy. Matt also held the title of "Global Strategist" for the Samsung group of companies in South Korea, where he was part of an internal consulting team providing strategy consulting services to the Samsung companies, including Samsung Electronics and Samsung Life Insurance.
Matt holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland.
Jonathan's emphasis is on Kennedy's consulting Index and IT portfolios. He supports multiple ongoing research projects, as well as performs market research and analysis in updating Kennedy's vendor databases and market sizing.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Jon was an entrepreneur running two small businesses. He focused on management and finance, while being responsible for day-to-day operations.
Jon earned a B.S. in Economics, with a focus on econometrics, from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at The University of New Hampshire.
, Senior Analyst, Lead for Public Sector Consulting Research
Matthew is Kennedy's lead for public sector consulting. Previously, he has worked as an Associate and Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, providing management consulting services for public sector clients, including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and others. Matthew was responsible for providing strategy and organizational support to public sector clients, including long term forecasting and change management. He also provided manpower assessment support to Army clients, streamlining human capital and financial facets of key organizations.
Matthew received an M.A. in Security Policy Studies from George Washington University. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Susquehanna University.
, Director, Lead for Strategy & Operations Consulting Research
Nathan is the lead analyst for Kennedy's strategy and operations management consulting service lines. He has over 10 years of experience in internal and external consulting roles, and most recently managed an independent consulting practice geared toward aligning clients' strategies and organizational structures and processes. As part of this venture, Nathan partnered with a Harvard Business School professor on research designed to measure the performance of organizations' internal coordination systems.
Prior to launching his own consulting practice, Nathan was responsible for global strategy and business development for a business unit at a multinational financial services company. In this role, he led strategic and operational initiatives that spanned multiple geographies and functional areas, including launching new businesses in East Asia and Eastern Europe.
Nathan holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
, Industry Analyst, Financial Services Consulting Research
As a member of Kennedy's financial services industry team, Gabe provides core sector research support and helps facilitate collaboration across Kennedy's competency-focused research teams.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Gabe was a Municipal Services Representative in the Government Banking division of RBS Citizens, N.A., where he assisted not-for-profit and municipal and state government banking customers. He also has experience working as an Actuarial Assistant for a retirement plan administration company and in the shareholder services area of a large mutual fund company.
Gabe has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). He served four years of active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps prior to attending UNH.
, Associate Director, Lead for Consulting Research in Europe, Middle East and Africa
Brendan is Kennedy's lead analyst for Consulting in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He has over 10 years of experience in Consulting and IT Services in Europe and the US.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Brendan worked for IBM, where he held positions within both the Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Technology Services (GTS) divisions. Most recently, he was responsible for designing and managing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) engagements in the EMEA region.
Brendan holds an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a B.A. summa cum laude from Dickinson College in International Studies and Italian Studies, with a minor in Music.
, Research Analyst, Operating Metrics in Consulting Research
Robert's focus is on Kennedy's Operating Metrics research. He manages the compensation in consulting portfolio and frequently contributes to Kennedy's other ongoing market research efforts.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Robert was involved in Net Impact, a nonprofit organization promoting the use of business skills to support social and environmental causes while maintaining a profitable bottom line. He currently helps manage Kennedy's philanthropic efforts.
Robert earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with a focus on marketing, from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.
